Welcome to TechInspect Home. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your relationship with the www.techinspecthome.com website (the "Service") operated by TechInspect Home ("us", "we", or "our").
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our Service. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. Description of Services
Tech Inspect Home Services LLC provides professional residential and commercial property inspection services, utilizing advanced technology to assess the condition of properties. Through this website, users can schedule inspections, view service details, contact our team, and access their inspection reports.
2. Inspection Agreements and Order of Precedence
While these Terms and Conditions govern your general use of our website and Service, any actual property inspection services or Statements of Work (SOW) entered into between you and Tech Inspect Home Services LLC are strictly governed by a separate, customized Inspection Agreement that must be signed by both parties prior to the commencement of any work.
Once signed, the Inspection Agreement wholly supersedes these website Terms and Conditions with respect to the inspection services provided. In the event of any conflict, discrepancy, or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and a signed Inspection Agreement, the terms, conditions, and limitations of liability set forth in the signed Inspection Agreement shall strictly control and prevail.
3. Scope of Inspection and Limitations
It is critical to understand the nature of our inspection services before booking:

  • Visual Inspection: Our inspections are strictly visual and non-destructive. We do not dismantle equipment, open walls, or move heavy furniture to inspect hidden areas.

  • Not a Warranty: An inspection report generated by TechInspect Home is an opinion on the condition of the property at the exact time of the inspection. It is not a guarantee, warranty, or insurance policy against future defects, failures, or hidden damage.

  • Latent Defects: We are not responsible for discovering latent or concealed defects that cannot be reasonably identified during a standard visual inspection.

  • Code Compliance: We do not verify building code compliance or zoning regulations, nor do we assess environmental hazards (e.g., mold, asbestos, radon, lead) unless explicitly contracted as an add-on service.

4. User Responsibilities & Booking Accuracy

When scheduling an inspection through www.techinspecthome.com  or calling or otherwise scheduling services through Tech Inspect Home Services LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Information Accuracy: You must provide complete and accurate data regarding the property. This includes, but is not limited to, the property address, age, and type.

  • Square Footage Validation: Our online booking tool retrieves square footage data from third-party sources (such as Zillow or public listing records). Tech Inspect Home Services LLC does not guarantee the accuracy of this third-party data.

  • Pricing Adjustments: Because our inspection fees are calculated based on the total square footage of the property, you are responsible for verifying that the figure used in the booking tool aligns with your official purchase contract or county records.

  • Correction of Errors: If the square footage displayed during booking is incorrect, you must contact us immediately to adjust the record. Tech Inspect Home Services LLC reserves the right to adjust the final invoice at the time of the inspection if the actual square footage exceeds the amount disclosed during the booking process.

  • Ensure that our inspectors have safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the property on the scheduled date and time.

  • Ensure that all utilities (water, gas, electricity) are turned on prior to the inspection, if applicable.

  • Not use our website or services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Fees, Payment, and Cancellations

  • Pricing: All fees for inspection services are outlined during the booking process or provided via a direct quote. Prices are subject to change based on property size, age, and location.

  • Payment: Payment is due in full prior to or at the time of the inspection, and before the release of the final inspection report. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website.

  • Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall TechInspect Home, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  1. Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

  2. Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.

  3. Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in our inspection reports regarding hidden, concealed, or unforeseeable property defects.

 
Note: Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our inspection services shall be strictly limited to a refund of the fee paid for the inspection service in question, as further detailed in your signed Inspection Agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of TechInspect Home and its licensors. The website, its design, logos, and the formatting of our inspection reports are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of TechInspect Home.
8. Links to Other Web Sites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by TechInspect Home. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that TechInspect Home shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the specific state in which the inspection takes place, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
